Who Are We?

As Quark Optical, we were established in Digitalpark Teknokent in 2022 with the support of TÜBİTAK 1512. Since 2023, we have been conducting our design, product development and manufacturing activities within Cube Incubation located in Teknopark Istanbul. Starting with the APD Module, we have expanded our product portfolio since our establishment, focusing on the development of competitive and niche products in the electro-optical and acoustic fields.

Our Projects

Our Projects

The APD Module project started in February 2022 with the acceptance of TÜBİTAK-1512 and is the founding project of the company. APD (Avalanche Photodiode) module is a sensor card that converts the light intensity falling on the sensor into electrical signals. It is generally used in applications requiring high speed and precise light detection. Our ongoing projects include SPAD Module and Time Digital Converter and Correlation Device. SPAD module is designed with the purpose of counting individual photons that fall on the sensor, similar to an APD module. Time Digital Converter and Correlation Device (TDCC) is a device that precisely measures the time between incoming signals, converts it into a digital value for each channel and can perform correlation analysis. With correlation analysis, similarities, delays or matches between incoming signals can be determined.
