Quark optical vacuum-compatible aluminum posts are devices that hold optical components at the desired height when attached to them.

  • These non-magnetic, vacuum-compatible 304L stainless steel posts have a diameter of 12.7 mm. The 3.2 mm hole placed on the side is drilled right in the middle of the post; attaching a spanner wrench to the hole provides extra leverage when tightening assembled components.

Vacuum Compatibility

  • Vacuum compatible posts are chemically cleaned prior to packaging and prepared for vacuum applications. They can be removed directly from the package with vacuum media up to 10-6 Torr.
