The optical table kinematic positioner provides fast positioning and adjustment of other optical elements attached to optical tables. It can be a crucial component for saving space.
The Kinematic positioner 4 enables precise positioning of optics or assemblies. It includes a 120-pitch fine hex adjuster that can be moved using a 2 mm hex key, allowing for fine adjustments in positioning. The positioner is centered over the base axis.
This positioner can be used individually for accurate component alignment. Additionally, it can be combined with Kinematic positioners 1, 2, and 3 to create more complex and modular fine adjustment systems.
The post can be mounted using a flexure clamp located underneath. This positioner is tightened using a side-located cap screw and a 3 mm hex key. Furthermore, the side-located M6 cap screw allows for mounting the positioner to the M6 end of the post, an optical table, or a platform using an M6 cap screw. When mounted through the flexure clamp, the positioner sits in the center of the post at the top. Conversely, when mounted using the side-located cap screw, the positioner shifts 10.2 mm to the side.
