Movable post for optical table is used to provide quick and stable height adjustment for a mounted component in an optical setup. Desired height is adjusted and fixed with the compression ring in it.

  • The movable post is designed to quickly and stably adjust the height of a component mounted in an optical assembly. This post equipped with an adjusting ring that can be moved at each revolution of 1 mm up to 6.4 mm from its nominal position. Once the desired height is achieved, the post can be secured with the built-in lock ring. The adjusting ring and the lock ring rotate on the post; the upper or lower part of the post does not rotate when moved.
  • The adjusting ring and locking ring have diameters slightly smaller than the diameter of the post, which allows the entire post to pass through the optical assembly accessories without encountering any obstacles. There is a 3.2 mm hole on the post with a side position; it provides extra leverage when tightening components mounted on the spindle or keyhole.
  • The post 50.8 mm long when fully compressed and has a maximum length of 57.2 mm.
